Alexandra O’Sullivan is a writer and English teacher living in Regional Victoria, Australia. When she’s not in the classroom attempting to inspire the next generation to love literature, she writes fiction, essays and reviews. Her work has been published in various journals such as Meanjin, Kill Your Darlings, Shooter and Westerly.

Alexandra is interested in how different characters co-exist in small communities. She’s currently working on an anthology of stories that explores the various perspectives of students and teachers within a school, using her experience as a teacher as a springboard for ideas.

As a horsewoman from country NSW, she also love to write about the colourful horse world, reminiscing about her past life in the competitive equestrian industry, and indulging in her obsession with horses as someone who never grew out of the ‘pony mad’ phase.
